Originally known as Valley View Oak, Canal Dover is a family owned and operated furniture company dedicated to delivering their customers with beautiful, American-made, solid wood furniture. Each piece of Canal Dover hardwood furniture is built and hand-finished by skilled Amish and Mennonite craftsmen. Their North American wood selection includes cherry, brown maple, oak, quarter sawn white oak, and poplar. Bedroom Furniture

Beds

Canal Dover beds are expertly crafted using mortise and tenon joinery and are available in Full, Queen, King, and California King sizes. Choose from sleigh beds, platform beds, panel beds, post beds, and upholstered beds. Headboards and footboards include design features such as spindles, latticework, slats, wrought iron scrollwork, overlays, iron clad posts, and button tufting. 

Dressers, Chests, & Nightstands

Pair your Canal Dover bed with a combination of a stylish dresser, dressing chest, gentleman’s chest, armoire, blanket chest, or a nightstand. Designs include anywhere from three to eight or more drawers with soft-close slides and dovetailed construction. Some chests have a clothes rod and adjustable shelves for maximum storage. Knobs, pulls, and other hardware accents are available in brass, nickel, bronze, pewter, stained wood, and copper.

Dining Room Furniture

Furnish your dining room with solid wood, Amish-made sideboards, hutches, dining tables, and dining chairs by Canal Dover. Sideboards and hutches include features such as wine racks, stemware holders, beveled glass, LED and touch tone display lighting, and adjustable shelves. Dining tables are available with round, rectangular, or oval table tops with the addition of one or more leaves to accommodate more guests. Dining room seating by Canal Dover includes solid wood chairs, upholstered seats and backs with exposed wooden frames, fully upholstered chairs, counter and bar stools, and wooden and upholstered benches.

Featuring four exquisitely handcrafted collections, Canal Dover’s selection of living room furniture includes coffee tables, sofa tables, end tables, TV consoles, sofas, loveseats, sofa chairs, ottomans, and recliners.

American Mission Collection

American Mission is a simply designed collection of living room and bedroom furniture inspired by the early Arts & Crafts style, featuring tenon and key construction, chamfered boards, dovetails, and exposed tenons.

Aurora Crofter Collection

The classic, angled style of furniture used by Scottish sharecroppers called Crofters is reflected in the Aurora Crofter Collection of living room and bedroom furniture. The angular designs were originally used to conserve space in their small cottages and now provide an authentic style for modern homes.

Craftsman Collection

Also paying homage to the Arts & Crafts movement’s unique individuality is the Craftsman Collection of living room and bedroom furniture. Canal Dover incorporates their signature inlay made of four unique wood species on each piece in the collection, with each one personally signed by the craftsman that built it.

Pasadena Collection

The Pasadena Collection of living room and bedroom furniture embodies the traditional Arts & Crafts craftsmanship of the city after which it is named. The sturdy construction and clean lines combined with intricate dark inlays are a gracefully timeless addition to any home.
